I was finally able to get her! After a year of not having enough money to buy her. This makes her member #5 of my still growing Miku collection. She should be coming in pretty soon. Can’t wait to get her!

Happy 2011!, everyone. I did watch a lot more anime and got more figures in 2010. This year I hope I can exceed on buying more figures. I think this is going to be a great year, a lot of games are coming out that I’m looking forward to and figures of course, but this year is going to be more about games. I hope I can get the Nintendo 3DS this year, won’t be able to buy many figures though. Let’s make this year better than last year!

Merry Christmas everyone! I got the rest of the Aria anime and the first two volumes of the manga. I’ll do a loot post soon. I didn’t get as much as I did last year, but I did get some really good stuff. I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas!

It’s been a year since I opened up this blog and now it’s finally a year old. I’d like to thank all my readers for reading this blog, I greatly appreciate it. Hopefully I’ll be able to make this blog even better next year. I really hope it gets more readers next year and the years to come. I’d also like to thank the supporters. Thank you for making Rin’s Corner’s first year wonderful.

Figure Review: Figma Black Rock Shooter by Max Factory

Alright, this is my third figure review, this time it’s Black Rock Shooter figma version. I do not own her, she belongs to NanoZero. I know there are plenty of reviews for her already, but she’s so fantastic that I had to review her. As you already know, she is manufactured by Max Factory, like all figmas. I own Nanoha and Fate StrikerS figmas and Fate movie version figma. I took over 200 pictures of her. The lighting will get better as time goes on, anyway let’s get on with the review.

Black Rock Shooter is by far the most well made figma. When I first saw her, I was amazed by how well her paint job is. I love her eyes, flame, and the blue in her hair.

Her coat is very shiny. Max Factory did great with the joints on the coat. This allows you to move her coat ends freely.

She also comes with the Rock Cannon, as you can see, it has it’s own stand.

Connecting her hand to the handle was pretty difficult. I don’t know if it’s any easier on the Nendoroid version. I didn’t do many poses with the cannon.

I liked using her Black Blade a lot.

This is my favorite shot of all the 200 pictures I took.

I didn’t use her closed eyes face very much either.

I like this shot a lot.

Overall, I really liked this figure, not too sure if I’d own her myself, I’m more into Black Gold Saw. Max Factory has definitely improved on the figma line. Thanks NanoZero for letting me review her. I might be getting the Nendoroid version of BRS. I hope that Black Gold Saw will come out just as nice as BRS did. There will be more reviews in the future. I’ll update soon.

Aya Matsuura- Another Fantastic J-Pop Idol

I’m gonna do a post about music this time. Recently, I’ve been listening to Aya Matsuura, all I can say is, she’s very talented. I love most of her songs and her music videos. I know there’s lots of other J-Pop singers, but Aya Matsuura is one of the best. I’ll share some videos with you, so you can listen to them. Enjoy the music.

This song is really good to dance to. I just love the beat.

This song is very soothing. I could imagine this song being used as an insert song for a slice of life anime.

I think her versions are better than the originals.

Did you guys miss me. Well guess what? I’m back! A lot has happened since I last posted. I’ve been busy with school, I got a new Macbook Pro so I don’t have to use my old crappy PC anymore. Hopefully, I’ll be more active with blogging. Here’s some unfortunate news. I had to cancel all my pre-orders, so no new figures for awhile, but I’ll keep doing some reviews of some of my old figures and some of NanoZero’s. I’ll update soon. See you then!

My Hopes For Wonder Fest Summer 2010

Wonder Fest is coming up soon, since I have nothing else to blog about, I mind as well tell you what I’d like to see in a few weeks.

I really hope that Alter will show us their Naoe figure sculpted and possibly painted. I’d be happy if it were just sculpted, just so I get the idea of what her pose is like. I’d like to see the rest of the Hyakka Ryoran girls sculpted as well.

Alter should also show us a Velvet to go with Mercedes and Gwendolyn. They could really make her with a really dynamic pose with those chains! (one thing Yamato’s lacks.) I’d love to see that! GSC should defiantly make a Luka PVC to go with Miku, Len, and Rin. I’d get it if it looks good. I don’t care if AmiAmi, Kotobukiya, or Alter makes it, I just want a Mio Sakamoto figure! The Sega one just wasn’t good enough. I would love to see a Black Gold Saw figure or figma, I don’t care which, just want to see one.

I’m sure that Wonder Fest will have plenty of surprises for us. I’ll be doing another highlight post for this, so look forward to it. What would you like to see at Wonder Fest?
